Colocation

We house your servers and network equipment in four data centres in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt am Main and Nuremberg – with direct access to our network, to IP transit and to the Internet exchanges we are connected to.

Colocation at Opteamax

We offer colocation in these data centres:

  • Düsseldorf: MyLOC DUS3
  • Frankfurt am Main: Digital Realty FRA6 and NTT FRA1
  • Nuremberg: Hetzner

You rent space by rack unit – as many as your equipment needs. Power is billed by metered consumption in kWh; we agree a committed power rate per rack unit with you.

Your equipment is connected directly to our network. This gives you the following on the same port:

  • IP transit from AS48200 – with your own AS via BGP or with IP addresses from our network,
  • Layer 2 connections to our other locations,
  • access to DE-CIX, MegaIX and all Megaport services through our reselling.

Remote hands

When something needs doing on site – plugging in a cable, rebooting a server, replacing hardware – our local partners or the data centre operator take care of it for you.

Frequently asked questions

Can I bring my own AS?

Yes. We set up BGP sessions with your AS, filter your prefixes based on IRR data and validate them with RPKI. You choose whether you receive the full table, only a default route, only customer routes or exclusively peering routes from us.

How do I get access to my hardware?

By prior arrangement, we accompany you into the data centre.
